The Collectorate of Customs Enforcement Islamabad has seized 10 smuggled vehicles and a large quantity of contraband goods worth more than Rs113.5 million.

Islamabad Customs seized the said goods and vehicles during a series of intelligence-based anti-smuggling operations conducted since July 10, 2026.

According to Customs officials, the operations targeted organised smuggling networks and resulted in the seizure of several high-value vehicles, including Toyota Camry, Toyota Land Cruiser, Toyota Prado, Toyota Prius, Toyota Wish, Suzuki Alto, Toyota Passo, and a Volkswagen.

Enforcement teams also confiscated substantial quantities of foreign-brand cigarettes, tyres, cloth, dry figs, and other smuggled goods, which officials said dealt a significant financial blow to illegal trading networks.

Customs said the raids were carried out under the supervision of senior officials as part of an intensified campaign against cross-border smuggling.

The department said it would continue intelligence-led enforcement operations in coordination with federal and provincial law enforcement agencies to curb smuggling, protect local industries, safeguard government revenue and support the national economy.
