Islamabad-A complaint by the son of a federal minister about the lack of tissue paper in the washrooms and faulty road lights on the Murree Expressway reportedly prompted immediate action. According to the claim, following the complaint, the General Manager (GM), Director, and Deputy Director of the National Highway Authority (NHA) responsible for the Murree Expressway were transferred. It is also alleged that an emergency contract worth approximately Rs. 600 million (60 crore) was awarded for restoring road lighting, installing generators, and ensuring the round-the-clock deployment of guards and electricians.
